MULTIDISCIPLINARY DESIGN & RESEARCH PROJECT
During my Master’s study at PolyU, I spearheaded corporate projects focusing on the intersection of data and design. By synthesizing qualitative data signals and market research, I identified strategic growth opportunities for AlipayHK. My work focused on capturing the younger demographic through innovative UX/UI solutions and sustainable engagement strategies, effectively aligning creative output with commercial business objectives.
CHALLENGE
- Empower AlipayHK to expand the young generation market in Hong Kong by ideating innovative and sustainable acquisition and engagement strategies from multiple contexts.
- Discover the relationship between lifestyle and payment methods of the GenZ group and identify the highest potential to acquire and engage new users.
APPROACH
- Utilized qualitative research methodologies and industry benchmarking to frame user insights and design requirements.
- Developed comprehensive user scenarios and UX/UI frameworks to enhance platform accessibility and brand appeal.
- Designed a market-entry strategy for the younger generation, delivering innovative product features and engagement models.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions were scalable, sustainable, and strictly aligned with business orientation.
